FAZE clan replaces CSGO legend Olofmeister before IEM Katowice.

Huge news in the CSGO world with legendary veteran, Olofmeister stepping down from FaZe Clan. They will replace him with fan favourite from mousesports, Karrigan, just days out from IEM Katowice.

FaZe clan has thanked Olof ‘Olofmeister’ Gustafsson for his performance over the last three years on Twitter. While Olofmeister was previously the centrepiece of the team, it was clear that this departure was coming. FaZe has struggled with results at the highest level and has failed to get results at CSGO majors in recent year

Signing Karrigan signals the team’s intent to compete again at the highest level and bring home some silverware. Among the line up is new signing Twistzz.

Olofmeister has commented saying his career is not over yet. It is yet to be known whether he will continue playing, however many have said they would also like to see him use his incredible knowledge of the game and personality to coach a team that can compete for titles.

We’re looking forward to seeing Karrigan in action for FaZe clan at IEM Katowice starting February 18th. Do you think we’ll see FaZe at the top again, soon, thanks to these changes?
